6 Day Belknap Shutdown – Catlin Avenue to Hill Avenue

  • Belknap will be shut down from 6:00 am Saturday 6/24/17 until 6:00 am Friday 6/30/17 to complete water main and storm sewer installations.
  • Side roads in this section will be closed at the alleys.
  • Access to all businesses and residences will be maintained during the shutdown.
  • Catlin Avenue will remain open during this closure.
  • Hill Avenue will remain open until 6/28/17. At that time, traffic should utilize Elm Avenue.
  • There will be a three day notice for any interruption to water service.
Traffic impacts:
  • Fourth of July Holiday Weekend
    • There will be no work on the project from noon Friday 6/30/17 until 6:00 am 7/5/17.
  • Project Detours
    • There is a signed truck detour utilizing the City of Superior Truck Route.
    • There is an alternative detour route signed for other traffic to bypass the project.
Work completed since last update:
  • West End – Banks Avenue to John Avenue
    • Concrete Curb and Gutter
  • East End – Birch Avenue to Hill Avenue
    • Water main
Anticipated work schedule for next week:
  • West End – Banks Avenue to John Avenue
    • Concrete Sidewalk

    • Water Main and Storm Sewer
